Tara Hustedde is the president and founder of Pure Public Relations & Marketing. She has more than 15 years of experience as a media relations and marketing specialist. She is a trusted resource to companies and individuals in a variety of industries that are in need of a creative, yet strategic approach to PR.

She specialized in helping her clients tell their stories to those that need to hear it through the objective, third-party endorsement of the press. She has a proven track record as a team leader and is an integral part of each client’s communications strategy and overall business objectives.

Before launching Pure Public Relations & Marketing, Hustedde worked for several national restaurant groups including Chipotle Mexican Grill, Checker’s/Rally’s and Bonefish Grill. Throughout her career has also lead the targeted public relations efforts for clients such as Tiffany & Co., Waterford Construction & Development, Maggiano’s Little Italy, Feld Entertainment, HOK Architects, EVOS Restaurant, Robb & Stucky, The Ford Amphitheatre at the Florida State Fair Grounds, Tractor Supply Co., Vyteris, and more.

Tara has a B.S. in Public Relations with an emphasis in the Recording Industry and minors in both Marketing and Spanish from Middle Tennessee State University. She is incredible well-connected within the marketing community nationwide. Tara is the current president of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the American Marketing Association, one of the country’s fastest growing chapters with more than 400 members. In 2010, she was named to the Gulf Coast Business Review’s, “40 Under 40”, which recognizes the rising and already there stars of the Gulf Coast’s Business Community. She has also been named one of Tampa Bay’s Rising Stars by the Tampa Bay Times (tbt*) produced by the St. Petersburg Times. She is a member of the Florida Chapter of the Recording academy, is a Leadership Tampa Bay Alumni (2005) and a member of the Public Relations Society of America. She is married to Chad and they have to little boys, Parker and Ashton.
